Welcome to the Department of Journalism and Media Technology at Namibia University of Science and Technology.
The Department provides practical training in journalism and media technology, as well as an introduction to the main theories in media studies. It will familiarise students with the news production process as it occurs in a range of media, with an emphasis on media in Namibia and in Southern Africa. Streams within its degrees focus on journalism, multimedia design and production, and public relations.
